The National Academy of Writing (NAW) is on the lookout for 12 talented unpublished writers to join their distinguished six month mentoring course. An introductory session to the NAW’s course takes place at Foyles Bookshop in Charing Cross Road on Tuesday February 28th. Time to pull a sickie perhaps?
Guest speakers include the NAW director, and author of Lazarus is Dead, Richard Beard, as well as bestselling novelist and NAW patron, Jojo Moyes. During their conservatoire-style event at Foyles, both will share their knowledge of the industry, and demonstrate how to take full advantage of the NAW course, during which 12 promising unpublished writers are mentored by established authors for six months. The deadline for 2012 applications is March 16.
Writers interested in attending the Foyles event should contact the NAW Course Coordinator, rena@thenationalacademyofwriting.org.uk
